Who we are

VelosTrack is made by Rumbo Tech Labs. Questions about this policy: rumbotechlabs@gmail.com.

What the app uses, and why

• Location
  Measures your speed, distance and route. While you record a journey it keeps working with the screen off, so tracking does not stop mid-journey.
• Motion sensors
  Tell whether you are really stopped, and whether you appear to be walking, cycling or in a vehicle.
• Camera and microphone
  Used only in the HUD theme and HUD mode, to show the live view behind your speed, and to film a clip when you tap the record button. Sound is recorded only while a clip is recording.
• Photos (add only)
  Saves the clips you film. The app cannot see anything already in your library.
• Notifications
  Local to your iPhone: speed alerts you set, and reminders that a recording has been running a long time. No server sends them.
• Apple Watch
  Your iPhone and your watch exchange the live speed directly with each other.

Where your information is stored

Your trips, routes, settings and any raw GPS logs are stored only on your iPhone. We do not receive them and have no server to send them to. If you use iCloud or a device backup, Apple may back up the app's data as part of your own backup, under Apple's terms.

What we share

Nothing. The app only sends data out when you choose to: for example, when you export a trip as a GPX file or share a log, it goes to the app or person you pick.

Purchases

VelosTrack Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We never see your payment details or Apple Account. Apple may give us sales totals that do not identify you.

Advertising, tracking and third parties

None. The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party code that collects data, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.

Your choices and deleting your data

• You can turn any permission off at any time in the iPhone's Settings.
• You can delete trips in Trip History and raw GPS logs from the app's menu.
• Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your iPhone.

Children

VelosTrack is not directed at children, and it collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
